We hope you can join us the afternoon of May 7 at the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center to celebrate this historic milestone for the Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility and Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment!
An in-kind contribution from CERN, this steel will soon be arriving in the City of Lead to form the massive cryostats that will be located a mile underground at the Sanford Underground Research Facility.
Before cryostat materials make their mile-deep journey underground, you’re invited to leave your mark by signing a structural steel beam that will become part of DUNE’s first detector module!
